in Music we have learned our first spooky witch song '
A witch wears a tall black hat,
a witch has a big black cat,
she sits on her broomstick as she flies by
and ooh is her cry!

PE- Obstacle Course.
We had another great day in PE. The boys and girls are showing me how they can manipulate their bodies for each obstacle. It is a great way for teacher to assess mobility and ability.
SESE- Science Experiment
Today we carried out two experiments with the property of ice. Our first experiment was to see which ice cube would melt the fastest- one with pepper, one with salt or one with sugar.
Our second experiment involved a large block of ice. We sprinkled a light layer of salt on the ice. We then experimented with different colours of dye to see how it would react on the ice. We noticed beautiful patterns of colour flowing over and into the ice block.

Scarecrows
The children have created amazing scarecrows. These took time and patience. Didn't they do a fantastic job!
PE Obstacle Course
Teacher bought us a tunnel and two houses. We created an obstacle course and each took turns on completing it. We even had crocodiles as we tried to cross the bridge.
Science Experiment
Today we had our third class experimemt. We read the instructions and gathered all our aparatus. We tried using different solutions. We mixed different solutions with baking soda to see what would happen.
I attached the experiment if you would like to try this at home.

Siamsa Tire Theatre
There are many great theatrical adventures arriving to Siamsa Tire. It is important to experience at least one of these events to help develop our imagination.
Theatre is a safe way to expose children to difficult situations and show them firsthand how to handle these correctly.
Theatre exposes young children to new vocabulary and ways of communicating. Through the arts of dance, acting and music, children learn how to communicate in a variety of unique ways.
